COVER REVEAL ~ Bad Mommy by Tarryn Fisher

Synopsis

Almost every day is a very bad day when you’re thirty, your tits are starting to sag, there are lines creeping in around your eyes, and you realize that no one would like you if they actually knew who you really were. Fig Coxbury is fed up with her life: her cheating ex-husband, the excess fat around her waist, and most of all, her loneliness.

When Fig chances upon Jolene Avery, the embodiment of everything she’s ever wanted to be, Fig befriends her out of curiosity.

Fig soon begins to emulate all aspects of Jolene's life, because when you find someone who knows exactly who they are, you can't help but want to be just like them.

Or in Fig's case... become them.

ARC Review ~ Disclaim by Pam Godwin

Camila was seventeen when Van Quiso kidnapped her. Ten years after her escape, the shackles refuse to release her. Not while there are still slave traders preying on her city.
She will stop at nothing to end them.
Even if that means becoming a slave again.

Returning to chains is her worst fear—and only option. They won’t know who she is or what she intends to do. She’s prepared for every complication.
Except him.
The one who decimated her sixteen-year-old heart.

Matias is charming, gorgeous, and dangerously seductive. He’s also untrustworthy and enshrouded in secrets. After years of no contact, he finds her—on her knees, wrists bound, in the clutches of her enemy.
Will he sabotage her mission by needlessly saving her?
Or will he keep her in chains and never let her go?

Warning: Graphic sex and violence. Age 18+ only
It is recommended to read after Deliver & Vanquish, but it can be read as a stand-alone.

Review

The one thing you can expect from Pam Godwin is she knows how to do dark, dark. Disclaim is no exception. Just when you think she can't top the previous book, she delivers another suspenseful, erotic and addictive read.

We have the characters Camila and Matias; young love that was just blossoming until they were abruptly pulled apart when Camila was kidnapped. She endured unspeakable acts and when she was freed, she made it her mission to help others that are being held captive. Matias is her go to guy. When she needs help, he provides it. Matias has his own agenda as well and as the story progresses we see how it comes all into play. There are some events that had me worried cause I didn't see how Matias could redeem himself. Camila and Matias had history so this worked more for me cause I got to feel how they felt starting at a young age until now. Secrets are revealed. Love is to be conquered.

One must have an open mind with this series. There are characters that you'll root for even though it seems impossible for them to redeem themselves. All in all, another fantastic read and so looking forward to the next installment.
