~Review & Give-A-Way~ Moments in Time: A collection of short fiction

Because You Are Mine by Madeline Sheehan

----AAAAAAAOOOOOO A refreshing take on werewolves. Seems forever since I've read something new by Madeline so when I saw that she was releasing a short story, I hopped up on it. Never a disappointment with her work. ~Amanda

----I can't tell you how over the moon excited I was when I heard that Madeline was writing a short story for an anthology. If you don't know me I am a huge Madeline fan. Like super huge. Her writing is unique and damn that woman can write a story like no other.

Because You Are Mine is a definite must read, especially if you love paranormal and all things werewolves. Oh ladies and to some gents, after reading this short story you will be in super heat and wish to the Gods that there is a wolf like Grey to whom you wish would could do oh such naughty things with and who will make you go Aaaaooooo!!!!!. And yes, Grey is SUPER ALPHA!!!!!

"Grey," was the gruff reply.
recovered from her mini heart attack, she cleared her throat.
"How can I help you?"
"You can let me in."
"Sorry. I'm busy."
"Female," he growled. "I will tear this fucking door off its hinges and then I will break the neck of anyone who tries to stop me from getting to you."

^^^^^^ALPHA-FUCKING-MALE!!!!!

I would go one with more of my highlights but I'll save them for you to come across. ~Crystal

Dark Paradise by Karina Halle
----Karina definitely has a way with words. Characters from The Artist Trilogy are in here and it keeps ya happy until Dirty Angels comes out. ~Amanda
----Are you waiting oh so impatiently for Dirty Angels to come out? Need something to read that will soothe that little aching pain of waiting until you get your hands on the baddest drug lord ever? Then I definitely recommend that you read Dark Paradise. You will feel the connection, the pull, the attraction and the chemistry between Esteban and Lani. Will they get a happily ever after? *shrugs shoulder*

"Sometime people come into our lives for just a second, just long enough to let us know that hope exists."

Did I mention that I also am in love with Karina's writing? It's just so profound. Her writing style flows so perfectly that once you are finished with one book, you want to immediatley pick up another of hers and get lost. Never to be seen or heard from again.

*Let me just say that there is a scene that will have you going "Holy bang-bang-dang-diggity-bang!!! That is caliente!!!* ~Crystal

The Benson by Karina Halle
----After reading this short story I am in need of one-clicking the Experiment in Terror series. I know. Something is clearly wrong with me for not have read the series already. I kept hearing this and that about a certain character name Dex and was like hmmm “I’ll check him out one day.” Well after getting a small glimpse of him in The Benson I am so changing that from one day to NOW!! If you love a good ghost story then you will definitely love this one. ~Crystal

Home by Joanne Schwehm
----My favorite type of romance. Childhood crushes that bloom into love. ~Amanda

----Joanne. Thank you for giving us such a sweet and beatiful and sexy read. There is nothing like a love story about childhood crushes who finally get their happy ending. I was sad when I came to the end because I wanted more. Needed more.

Will we get more? Please say yes. Puhlease! ~Crystal

Slum Queen by Daryl Banner
----Wow! Just.....WOW!!!! If you are looking for something totally different and perfect and full of awesomeness then please please please make sure you read this story. Oh the feels I felt while reading Slum Queen. I needed tissues at the end and dashnabit I didn't have any at all. I was a blubblering mess and I silently cursed and praised Daryl.

*Make sure you check out his other stories. I read The Beautiful Dead and it is currently my all time favorite post-post-apocalyptic read.* ~Crystal

Baby Special by C.C. Brown

----It’s so refreshing to come across a story, whether it be a short or long one, where it has a man but not just any man, a Marine, going out of his mind bat shit crazy with worry and love for his wife who is expecting their first child. In Baby Special I kept laughing at Alex’s reaction to every look of pain that would come across his wife’s face. Or his reaction to what the doctors would say when his wife Cassie gets admitted.
If you want a feel good, hilarious but in a “Awww. Alex is acting so cute in a commanding kinda way.” and a happy happy joy joy quick story then I definitely recommend this one for you.~Crystal

One Night Away by Nicole Jacquelyn

----Steamy. Sexy. Seductive. Mysterious Man.

One Night Away is all those with a sweet ending that will leave you with a huge as fuck smile on your face. ~Crystal
One Night with a Cowboy
----Oh the jerk. Oh the pompous ass tard. I want to grab one of my big purses and fill that sucker up with heavy objects and do some major damage.
Sorry about that. I had to get that off my chest because ugh there is a major douche nozzle in the beginning of this story. I am happy to say thought that Ember is no longer with that asshat eating son of a bitch and that she finally met and had one hell of a time with a sexy and drop dead gorgeous cowboy whose *clears throat* package is quite impressive. ~Crystal
Sapphire by Ashley Suzanne
----Are you in the mood for a dark read with a HEA at the end? This one is for you. As I was reading I could feel the pain that Sapphire went through as a young teenager and as a young adult. I felt her loneliness and despair as she talked about how she has survived since running away from home. It’s a tragic yet beautiful story.
Ashley, will there be more to this? ~Crystal

Unleashed by Erin Noelle

----If you're a fan of fury things that howl at night then you will enjoy this erotic story by Erin. I really do hope that she continues with this because hot damn I'm wanting more.~Crystal

Have yet to finish the other stories. This anthology is one of the best that has been released this year. Go and pick up your copy!

Now she’s in, and once in you’ll never be completely safe. Life will forever change when affiliated with Luca DeMiliano.

*****

Excerpt 1: Luca’s point of view
Her picture doesn’t do her any justice. That woman is stunningly beautiful. A trigger ignited when I supported her by the elbows. Observing her every move since we spotted her in the club, I saw a calmness in her attitude, an air of innocent mischief in the graceful way she poses herself. A woman intriguing enough to simply watch her dance with her loud friend.
I instructed Matteo—one of the cabbies on our payroll—to inform me when they were home. She doesn’t give her address to strangers; she’s careful in her interactions, which could pose a problem for me. I need to gain her trust.
Adriano comes barging out of the club. I lift my hand to signal him over.
“What the fuck was that?” he practically yells.
“Tone it down.”
He steps closer to me. “What the hell was the kiss for?”
I shrug him off. “I made contact, didn’t I?”
Adriano perks a brow. “That was my job. Guess she wasn’t interested in my ugly face.”
“I put her in one of our cabs. She’ll take some work, though. But she has made this night a lot more fun.”
His expression contorts in comical disapproval. “Be careful with that one. You guys were eye fucking the shit out of each other.”
“I would like to do more than eye fuck her,” I groan.
“Just fuck someone tonight at the house. We have enough hot brunettes available for you.”
“Not tonight. We have more work. Come on.”

About the Author:

Soraya Naomi resides in Europe with her entrepreneur fiancĂ©. She attended university in The Netherlands.

Although she reads many genres, she favors intense, dark, seductive, and provocative novels where the male character loves fiercely without remorse or boundaries.

She has a passionate obsession for the written word and indulges in chocolate pastries much too often.

There are books full of great writing that don't have very good stories. Read sometimes for the story... don't be like the book-snobs who won't do that.
Read sometimes for the words--the language. Don't be like the play-it-safers who won't do that. But when you find a book that has both a good story and good words, treasure that book.

Debbie Does Monsterland (F*ck All Monster, Book 1) by Emma Steele

When I say that I will read anything, I mean it. I'm willing to give the craziest and most bizarre stories a chance because hey, I might really enjoy them. I'm not saying that I enjoyed this read but I'm also not saying that I didn't. It had it's parts where I was like "What in da fack am I reading?", other parts where I was like "Oh for the ove of all things unholy! NO! NO! NO! NO! That should not be happening but it is because duh, it's in the title." and other parts where it had me cringing but cracking up with laughter.

At times I felt bad for Debbie because to be 50 feet tall with no reasonable size cock for a person her size to get off on must be frustrating and depressing. This is going to sound strange and odd but I pictured myself in her place and let me tell you, I didn't like it. Not one bit. Imagine being imprisoned in a room with your libido as high as a frigging kite with only say, a pencil or a toothpick to use to get yourself off. Impossible! They are too small. So small that your vagina would swallow them up, never to be seen again.

"Being fifty feet tall, she has a clitoris the size of a watermelon: a melon packed with nerve endings. Her labia are giant sails, swelling with blood as if with wind, warm like the sun has touched them. And her vaginal canal-well, it's roomy enough to throw a party in, hang a disco ball from her G-Spot...."

^^^Don't you just feel for her? Gah. To have a hoo-haa big enough to hang a disco ball? A clit the size of a watermelon? (Are you wondering if it's a seedless watermelon too?)

Debbie also has to deal with all the scientist and doctors who wants to constantly take samples from her person and do all sorts of tests.  And let's not forget her pervy psychiatrist who jacks off to her masterbating during her "session". Where is the professionlism in that? Who does Debbie need to talk to so that he can get his license revoked?

Before you ask why she masterbates during her sessions, it is due to her uncontrollable hunger. The need to feel release even if it leaves her wanting more.

After watching a documentary about Monsterland and seeing some of the monsters in wham-bam-thank-you-ma'am action, Debbie yearns to be free from her cell so that she can make her way to them.

Book 1 leaves off when she finally reaches Monsterland. Will she get what she is looking for? Will she finally get the release she has been aching to have from Godzilla's cock? If you are iffy about investing a lot of time in a story which you are totally unsure of, worry not my fellow readers, it's a very short read.

I will end my review with this. Debbie does get revenge on some staff memebers at the facility that she is held in. Oh boy does she. It's cringe worthy too.

Red and Wolfe, Part Two by Ella James

It's one of those serials that you'll dislike the ending but let's rewind a bit.

I read the first installment in the Bend (which has since been banned) anthology. It kept my interest with the way the author told the story. It deals with losing everything to gaining something even if it's not what you want. The chemistry between the H and h is sexual. They're both loners looking for more and maybe they found it with each other.

This picks up where the first left off...with a BANG BANG BANGITY BANG. I love a man who is comfortable in his sexuality. I love a man who lets a woman put a finger up his ass.<-----That scene was scorching hot!

But have no fear cause book three will be released June 16th. So be sure to mark your calendar!

~Cover Reveal~ Dirty Deeds by Karina Halle

~* Cover Reveal *~

Synopsis
“He’s fearless and ruthless. Soulless.”

As a flight attendant, Alana Bernal has had her share of suitors. She's also had more than her fair share of tragedy within her messed-up family. But what she hasn't had is love. Real, rip-your-heart-out, tear-your-clothes-off, all-consuming love.

At least that was the case until she met an American tourist, Derek Conway, a ripped ex-soldier with steely eyes and a commanding presence.

What started as a chance encounter between the two in Puerto Vallarta, a weekend full of hot sex and mindless passion, has led to something more.

Something deadly.

Because Derek isn't the type of man to fall in love. He's not a man who sticks around.

And he's definitely not in Mexico on vacation.

Derek is a mercenary, a killer-for-hire, a man who does the ugly jobs for the highest bidder.

Unfortunately for Alana and Derek, the highest bidder has the power to destroy whatever worlds they have created for themselves.

The highest bidder can destroy everything.

*This is a romantic suspense book, #2 in the Dirty Angels trilogy but can be read as a standalone novel*
