REVIEW
While reading The Bourbon Kings, I pictured the book as a season one of a dysfunctional family drama filled with lies, deceit, death, love, hope and redemption. There are many pov's through out the story that could be a little distracting but it gives us a feel on how the characters are portrayed and what they could bring with the following stories in this series. The Bourbon Kings are about the Bradford family which includes three sons, one daughter, father and mother who have their own demons they are battling. The heart of the family is not who you would think would hold the family together. It's endearing to see this. How the family interacts with each other is discerning cause you get to see the root of the problem that starts it all. I wouldn't call this story a HEA, more like a HFN; at least for one couple. Curious to see what will happen in season two.
