~Review~
I am going to admit that this is my first book by Pepper Winters so I didn't know what to expect when I started this book but ummm wow. Debt Inheritance (Indebted #1) had me glued to my kindle to the very end.
Jethro Hawk is a dick. An asshole. A ruthless bastard whom you can't help but lust after...a little, who legally owns Nila Weaver due to a debt that her family still owes his family from so many years ago. There is something hidden deep down inside of him (something good *prays*) that I hope Nila will be able to bring out.
Nila Weaver is a naive, sheltered, successful clothes designer who is somewhat kidnapped but in a way voluntarily goes with Jethro after a fashion show. Her world is turn upside down and something is revealed to her which has her thinking differently about someone from her past.
The cruelty and humiliation that Nila experiences is beyond barbaric but it's slightly erotic. I'm intrigued with how things will play out in book 2 because good lawd almighty, the ending had me shouting RUN!!! Run your runners legs and get the hell out but silently wishing that she doesn't get out. <-----Yes, I'm a fucked up person.
There were a few things that I didn't care for like the constant mentioning of her vertigo and that there is a MC club. That last one had me groaning but we shall see how it plays out.
I have one question for Pepper: Who the hell is Kite?! I know I will have to wait to find out but I'm an impatient gal.
